Tomorrow, 🪐 Mercury enters Virgo, one of the two signs it "rules" (if you are Virgo or Gemini rising, when Mercury changes signs, it's when you also change "mood and focus" - I explain this in the “a year ahead reading” where we create your personal horoscope).
Mercury is the fastest planet, closest to the Sun, associated with communication, language, logical understanding, and mental clarity.
What is the difference between Mercury in Gemini and Mercury in Virgo?
In Gemini♊🧠, it activates that curiosity and desire to discover the truth in things, scientifically, linguistically, and culturally.
It is the maximum expression of the potential, the meaning and the use of the word.
For this reason, those born with Mercury in Gemini have exceptional communication skills (writing, poetry, singing, dialectics, etc.).
Mercury in Virgo♍🍏, being Virgo an earth sign (compared to Gemini, which is an air sign), becomes
the mind applied to the real world. It translates very well into problem-solving, practicality, efficiency, perfectionism, and essentiality.

From August 5th to August 29th, Mercury will have its second RETROGRADE of the year. It starts in Virgo, then returns to Leo (remaining in Leo until early September, then re-entering Virgo at the end of September).

By now you know me, and so you know that (or if you're new here, you'll hear it for the first time) Retrogrades “ARE NOT BAD by nature.” 🧚♀️
From the Earth's perspective, it seems that the planet goes backward when it actually makes a loop-like circle.
This movement allows us to "slow down" and see things from a different perspective, thus causing certain things to "not work" so that you can do something different, act alternatively and, who knows, maybe discover (thanks to this detour) a new way of doing something, a more intriguing solution. 💡
Personally, I also believe that Retrogrades are vital for the world we live in, where we "expect from ourselves" to always produce quickly. Retrogrades remind us that we are human and that, sometimes, slowing down can mean going further.
