Dear astro lover,
What do you think about love?
🧙♀️ When I studied astrology, a whole new world opened up to me, even regarding this topic that is so dear to all of us…
Aside from movies—where love often follows a similar storyline—in my life experience, I have always noticed that, in reality,
every couple has THEIR own story.
✨ Often contradicting the classic “rules” associated with love:
He has to do this, she has to be like that...
If they do that, it means they don’t love me...
If I haven’t met “the one” yet, something must be wrong with me...
If the relationship didn’t last, I must have done something wrong...
Getting back with an ex is always a mistake...
💑 You know all these “common phrases” about love. Well, after five years of reading astrological charts and hearing countless love stories, I can confidently say:
👉 THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL RULE.
There is no SINGLE or CORRECT way to fall in love, to make a relationship work, or to navigate connection and intimacy.
Each of us has a UNIQUE story based on our OWN way of loving and being loved.
For example, there is no such thing as the perfect date for everyone.
To me, a perfect date is one that aligns with my passions and meets someone who truly sees and understands them—someone who transforms that moment into my perfect date. 💖
And I say all this as the hopeless romantic that I am!
A Personal Story...
In January 2021, during the height of global Covid lockdowns, I decided to take a leap of faith and try to come to the U.S. from Italy against all odds. I booked a ✈️ flight to the Dominican Republic, without knowing if I’d even make it past check-in.
At the airport in Bologna (Italy), I stood before the officer with my paper that had the explanation on why I should travel in a moment where it was not allowed to, and I said, “I haven’t seen my boyfriend in a year and a half, and that seems like a valid enough reason.”
He looked at me—an angel disguised as an airport officer—and whispered: “Write ‘business reasons’ on your form, and I’ll let you through.” 🌟
You can imagine the reaction when I posted my flight on IG—no one believed it! At that time, I couldn’t even go from Bologna to Milano due to strict lockdowns!!!
I spent 20 days in the Dominican Republic (the quarantine time) 🐦 before finally making in into the US, reuniting with my boyfriend—now husband. 💞
[us in 2021 just after he picked me up at the airport]
🐛🦋
Before that moment…
He broke up with me twice.
We had a long-distance, cross-continental relationship for three years.
When we got married, none of my family (except my sister) or friends had ever met him.
I was the one who pursued him.
We weren’t even sure what we wanted to do with our careers (we’re still figuring out our shared purpose).
And yet, despite all the “wrong” things that happened
—things that might make someone say “this isn’t a ‘correct’ relationship”—
here we are: deeply in love, passionate, and each other’s biggest fans.
We grow together every day, facing life’s challenges with compassion and openness toward who we are as individuals and what we desire as a couple.
🦄 Is it easy?
Not always. But our souls met, recognized, and chose each other—and every day, we do our best, respecting and loving each other while honoring our personal needs.
All this to say: there is no single “right” way—and astrology explains this beautifully through the PLANETS OF LOVE.
🪐 Understanding them has helped me see couples and personal love stories more clearly, especially when existential questions arise. It highlights that:
👉 WE DON’T ALL LOVE OR NEED LOVE IN THE SAME WAY—AND THAT’S PERFECTLY OKAY.
🧙♀️ The 3 Key Love Planets:
🌙 MOON: Represents how you feel loved, what you need emotionally, and how you express love (starting from childhood/maternal love).
🔥 VENUS: Shows what excites you, what fuels your passion, and how you give and receive love as an adult.
🪷 JUPITER: Reflects your curiosity, the adventures you seek, and the experiences that open your mind and heart—shaping what you look for in a partner.
Then, we look at how these three planets interact with your partner’s chart.
For example, if your Moon is in Gemini, you might connect well with someone whose Mercury is in Gemini, as it aligns with your emotional needs.

Plus, there’s the 7th House—the house of romantic relationships.
Planets in this house show what energies you need to integrate into your love life.
See how love isn’t “one size fits all”?
But at the same time, astrology gives you very clear insights into what makes you feel loved and how you express love.
Understanding these placements can help answer questions like:
💐 “Why don’t I feel loved even when they bring me flowers?”
🫂 “Why do I feel deeply connected when they share their secrets with me, but not when they take me out to dinner?”

🥰 I’ll share my personal astrological compatibility—just for fun and as an example of how synastry (relationship astrology) works:
♥️ My Moon in Taurus aligns with his Moon in Cancer—we both need comfort, emotional security, and quiet time to recharge.
♥️ My Venus in Sagittarius connects with his Venus in Aquarius—we both crave innovation, unconventional ideas, creative expression, world-changing dreams, adventure, and travel.
♥️ Our Jupiter placements are both in Cancer—so we deeply value emotional sharing, from fears and wounds to dreams and aspirations.
(Admittedly, he’s better at this last point—being a Pisces, he’s naturally empathetic and sensitive, while my Capricorn and Libra placements keep him grounded in reality.)
⚡ My Libra Sun sometimes clashes with his Aries Rising—he’s impulsive, while I seek harmony and balance.
⚡ My Mars in Libra sometimes struggles with his Mars in Capricorn—he’s decisive and goal-driven, while I constantly weigh my options.
